Monday, February 10, 2003 ( 1:31:00 PM ) Miss Scarlet My dream from last nite reminded me of this: In high school, Rena and I were both on the tennis team and we had this favorite reporter named Ted. Ted was pretty special and let me tell you why: All of his questions were "yes" or "no" ones. Example conversation that actually happened one time after a match: Ted: So you won? Me: Yes Ted: You hit good volleys? Me: Yes Ted: Your forehand over powered her? Me: Yes Ted: Well, Thank you. Me: No, Thank you! I love you. Ok, well the I Love You part didn't really happen (out loud) but being interviewed by him is the FUNNIEST thing ever. Usually we'd have to elaborate on those yes or no questions to make sure he had something to quote. Well, Ted also covered the boys basketball games which we would be at bc we were in Pep Band. And for this one game we made a sign that said something like "Ted's Fan Club" or something and we yelled for him a lot and waved and stuff. It was so much fun! And this newspaper photographer even took our picture:) That was such a fun nite!! I miss Ted, He moved on to bigger and better things (Loudoun, I think). xo,scarlet #
